Career Notes

  • Led DeSales to the 1985 OHSAA Division-III State Championship, becoming Ohio's first 14-0 team

  • Pusateri and the Stallion won four CCL Championships (1978, 1979, 1982, 1985)

  • Led the Stallions to an undefeated 10-0 record in 1978

  • 1969 graduate of St. Francis DeSales, where he played football, wrestled and participated in track

  • Captain of the 1968 Football team - the first to defeat Bishop Watterson and win an outright CCL Championship

  • Inducted into the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2014

  • Inducted into the St. Francis DeSales Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015
